Dear Customers,
To enhance security and comply with the policies of our upstream provider,
starting March 1st, 2025, all outgoing traffic on email-related ports (SMTP, IMAP, POP3) will be blocked on all Hostmarket servers.
What does this mean?
- If your server is used exclusively for sending or receiving emails, this functionality will no longer be available.
- If your server does not use email ports, no changes will affect you.
What should you do?
- If you require email functionality, we recommend switching to external SMTP providers such as Mailgun, SendGrid, AWS SES, or other alternatives.
- All newly ordered servers will have email ports blocked by default.
This measure has been implemented to prevent potential abuse, improve service stability, and ensure compliance with security policies.
